Fire at 6 Buswell, South Campus, Boston University

Talk about a rude awakening.

Residents of the South Campus dormitory were roused at 3:30am by a blaring fire alarm. Within minutes, nearly ten fire trucks and numerous police cruisers surrounded the dorm as students filed out. According to reports, an individual in a third-floor apartment threw a 'smoking device' (a cigarette?) into a trashcan, starting a small fire and causing the smell of smoke to waft through the hallways.

Luckily, I was inside 6 Buswell at my friend's apartment and just awake enough at 4am to capture the events in as best as I could in my half-asleep stupor.
